Always having an interest in animals, Kate was incredibly fortunate to work out a way to work that into her career. Starting out by completing her Animal studies Certificate II in 2018 and then completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019, she gained employment at AdelaideVet as an Animal Caretaker through her work placement and once she completed her studies she was employed as a veterinary nurse. Kate has really enjoyed furthering her skills to be able to provide the best care possible to all the animals she can.
Kate has a full house at home with her dog Jagger (a Border Collie X), two birds – Merci (A rainbow lorikeet) & Arturo (a Princess of Wales parrot) and two cats Missy and Esme. She has also fostered over 150 kittens, which keeps her very busy and is what originally got her interested in the animal industry.
Kate can’t wait to get to know you all, whether that be through looking after your cats in the boarding facilities or providing the best nursing care possible in the hospital.
