Lauren started her career in the veterinary industry after doing work experience at her local mixed practice veterinary clinic in country NSW as a 15 year old. She worked up from walking dogs and cleaning cages and instruments to reception duties, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting vets in clinic and on farm and developing good relationships with all of the farmers and clients.
She moved to Adelaide in 2015 and started at AdelaideVet knowing that the Trinity Gardens clinic was a good fit for her with the varied range of procedures and busy days keeping her enthused. There have been procedures that she would have never dreamed of seeing, that she has assisted with and she has worked with so many great colleagues during her timewith AdelaideVet.
Pathology is one of her favourite parts of veterinary nursing. She love seeing how much information the patients’ blood can give, to help make them feel better.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and very eccentric cat Elsie. She also enjoy music and photography.
