Play and Exercise

Doggy daycare gives your dog a fun-filled day of play, mental stimulation and energy release. We pair them up with dogs with similar energy levels and desire to play! There's so much opportunity for them to have the best day with their friends. With lots of toys, fun features and friends your dog will certainly get their fill of play and exercise for the day.

Socialisation

Social interaction is a crucial part of your dog’s life. A well-socialised dog is happy to come along to all your favourite places. Our team of dog lovers will make sure  positive training and socialisation are used to encourage your furry friend at doggy daycare. Our trainers will keep a close eye on them working with your dog to build stronger happy relationships with other dogs.

Enrichment

We have lots of toys, food puzzles and opportunities for play. Our canine educators are always supervising ensuring dogs are having fun and some of their own space with a treat when possible too.

Preventing Behaviour Problems

Play, exercise and socialisation aim to help your dog relax at home and reduce tendencies for undesirable behaviours such as digging, barking and destruction.

Professional Team

Our friendly staff are skilled and trained in dog behaviour and are highly qualified in making friends with your special furry mate. Our team absolutely love dogs and love what they do, your pooches are our passion!

Zen Time

We have a special time during the day where we encourage our doggy guests to have some quiet time, which we refer to as Zen Time!

When dogs come into daycare the first few hours are filled with excitement and energy as your dog meets new and old friends! Some dogs will take time out during the day on their own behalf, using the soft beds provided in all of our playpens. However, a lot of the time the dogs are so excited they just don’t know when to stop! If we allow this behaviour for the entire duration of the dog's stay we tend to see some undesirable behavioural changes, particularly when we see dogs are getting tired and need a break.

During Zen time we dim the lights, turn on some soothing calm meditation music and encourage the dogs to settle where they feel comfortable (usually on a canine educators lap!). We  have private Zen Pens if we feel like your dog might need some quiet time on their own. Pens are equipped with soft beds, calming music, water and enrichment toy if needed, of course, always under the watchful eyes of our Canine Educators.

At AdelaideVet our veterinary behavioural team helped us develop a carefully thought out day for our doggy guests. Our qualified vets know this Zen Time to be of great importance, and they know their stuff!
