Veterinary Nurse
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Bridget became a Vet Nurse in 2017, realising her longstanding dream of working in the Animal Industry. When Bridget was little, she was that animal-obsessed little girl, bedroom plastered with posters of ponies, puppies, bunnies and kittens, ready to chew any and everyone’s ears off about all things animals.
As she grew up, she realised she should probably filter that but now, Bridget is thrilled to have landed in an environment where she can talk animals non-stop, amongst equally obsessed people. Finding the work equal parts challenging and rewarding, Bridget feels quite honoured to be given the opportunity to work amongst such a lovely, knowledgeable, well-respected group of mentors in the team at AdelaideVet.
At home in Crafers West, Bridget is mum to Hazel and Juniper (humans) plus Sonny the Cocker Spaniel and 3 cats. They keep her pretty busy in her spare time, although she loves to escape them for a holiday here or there. Otherwise, you’ll find her having a wine with husband Harry, friends and family, likely boring them with stories about animals.
