Dr Tamika was born and raised in the Adelaide Hills with her family where they had a variety of animals growing up. She always loved animals as a little kid, hence, her passion for wanting to be a Vet growing up.
Dr Tamika studied at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2020 amongst an interesting year for the world. She spent 2021 working in a mixed animal hospital in semi-rural NSW treating all creatures great and small and thoroughly enjoyed it. She moved back to SA at the start of 2022 to be with family and friends and to continue her veterinary career in SA.
She enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine caring for all patients but has a particular interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imagining.
Har current family consists of Loki (the Cavoodle) and Kortez (the Clydie X). In her spare time you will find her either roaming around the Adelaide hills on horseback, water skiing up the river or camping and 4WD in many of the wonderful places Australia has to offer.
