Cherie began working in the veterinary industry in 2013 as a receptionist at a small animal practice. She has since gone on to complete her Certificate III in animal studies and Certificate IV in Vet Nursing and has been qualified since 2019.
After spending several years in general practice and throwing her hat in emergency and specialist surgery she joined the AdelaideVet team in June 2024.
Cherie’s passions include surgery and critical care as well as education – she also works as an online educator for the Australian College of Vet Nursing and helps teach the foundation skills of nursing.
In her spare time, she enjoys strength training, fostering orphaned kittens and caring for her sassy tortoiseshell Twix, and geriatric border collie Buddy.
