Dr Litto was originally born and raised in India where she attended an American international boarding school in Kodaikanal. She then moved to the United States to complete her higher education. Dr Litto obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biomedical Science in 2007 followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduating, she moved to Denver, Colorado where she worked at a busy general and 24-hour emergency practice before joining a referral speciality center as an emergency veterinarian. In 2017, Dr Litto and her husband relocated to Adelaide in search of new adventures and cultural experiences, and she joined AdelaideVet. Her professional interests include anaesthesia/pain management, soft tissue surgery, and emergency and critical care.

Dr Litto’s pet family includes a rambunctious, one-eyed bandit cat named Mad-eye and a hyper, chocolate Labrador named Ace.

In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, travelling, and cycling.
