Dr Simon was brought up in Wellington, New Zealand, and has always been passionate about animals. He studied veterinary science at Massey University in NZ and graduated with distinction in 1999 before discovering how much better the weather was in Australia.

After working for two years in Melbourne Dr Simon travelled to the UK where he worked for a large practice group in Kent for 3 years. On returning to Australia in 2005 he has spent the last 8 years at Gordon Veterinary Hospital in Sydney before moving to Adelaide in 2013 to take up an exciting position at AdelaideVet.

Dr Simon obtained his Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists by examination in small animal internal medicine in 2007 and then small animal dentistry and oral surgery in 2008.

Dr Simon’s main interests are dentistry and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Simon loves road cycling, cooking, eating, drinking wine and spending time with his partner Joanna and their son Ben. He is manipulated on a daily basis by his food motivated brown Burmese cat, Tui.
