Jess grew up in the Adelaide Hills with a lifelong passion for animals. Her keen interest in animal behaviour and welfare led her to university studies and a career as a dog trainer before transitioning into the veterinary industry to further her work with animals at AdelaideVet.
A natural rescuer, Jess rarely hesitates to take in an animal in need. It all started with Isla, a tiny kitten found on the expressway at just four weeks old, followed by Nova, her energetic Staffy mix who keeps her on her toes. Most recently, she welcomed Atlas, a three-week-old kitten brought in by a client—who has quickly made himself at home!
Outside of work, Jess enjoys reading, hiking with Nova, and soaking up the beauty of the Australian coast.
