Sue is a qualified Veterinary Nurse who has been an integral part of AVP since 1985! As our frontline receptionist, she ensures the clinic runs smoothly while also providing compassionate care through nurse consults.
One of Sue’s greatest joys is building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, often caring for them from playful puppyhood to their cherished senior years.
At home, Sue shares her life with an aging foster dog, Bobby — a spirited Jack Russell cross affectionately known as “Boss Dog” (with good reason), three rescue cats – Mercedes, Bentley, and Aston, and a rescue cockatiel with a particular fondness for Sue’s husband. She also welcomes the yearly visits of a growing family of magpies, delighting in their familiar warbles.
Beyond her love for animals, Sue enjoys visiting her daughter in Clare, and supporting her husband’s kart racing club. Her warmth, experience, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the AVP team.
