Dr Lisa Wood from the University of Western Australia claims 20% of pet owners have met and formed relationships with other people through their pet, 40% have got to know people as a result of their pet and 80% chat to other dog owners when they are out walking. Petnet’s social experiement consists of a hidden camera test to prove pets can be a conversation starter!
